The following represents just some of the funding sources and programs that are available to the Bricks-n-Books Project that may fund its programs:

Grant Opportunities

·         Each year, public and private funding sources offer access to literally billions of dollars in grant funds with a focus on economic development, education, employment and workforce investment initiatives. This is especially true now that President Obama has signed the Recovery Act into law.  One of the unique features of the Bricks-n-Books Project is its ability to seamlessly fit into and, therefore, support each of these initiatives.

·         National Bricks-n-Books Project maintains a constant search effort for new grants and other funding opportunities.  Many foundations and federal and state government organizations that support missions like ours will be sought.  In most cases, because National Bricks-n-Books is a subscriber to granting organization, we receive automatic email-notifications about new grant opportunities whenever they become available.

Fundraising Programs

·      As a 501 (c)(3) non-profit seeking new and innovative ways to secure program funding, National Bricks-n-Books Project has committed to participant in the E-DOPT Funding Initiative. Coming soon, the E-DOPT Funding Initiative is designed to create steady streams of recurring tax-deductible contributions for non-profits.

Program Sustainment

·       Structured as part of our program offerings is a self-sustainment feature that includes the Bricks-n-Books Labor Pool. This pool is setup as an administrative mechanism through which program participants can be hired temporarily or permanent by outside organizations or organizations working with National Bricks-n-Books on certain projects. In addition to job placement, another purpose of the Labor Pool is to create additional streams of revenue that can sustain the program going forward.
