The Bricks-n-Books Project

Programs

Developed with a view toward job-placement, the Bricks-n-Books Project education and job-readiness training programs are offered on the local community level.  As such it's best opportunity for success and community acceptance is to seek collaborations with Workforce Investment Boards (WIB) and associated OneStop Career Centers. As a prospective collaborative partner with a WIB and/or OneStop Career Centers, Bricks-n-Books Project is structured to seamlessly integrate into local communities nationwide in one of three ways, as defined below:

  1. Outreach and Enrollment - Identify and enroll participants,
  2. Skills Development - teach participants the skills necessary for them to participate in the workforce, and
  3. Job Placement - place participants in job opportunities within local communities, through the Bricks-n-Books Labor Pool.
